ECS Systems was appointed by a building contractor specialising in large, high net worth residential projects to support works at Campden Hill, in the heart of Kensington. As a Grade II listed property, the project required a security solution that met the client’s needs while respecting strict aesthetic standards and careful equipment placement.
Discretion was central to the brief. The client wanted to feel secure, without obvious signs of security equipment either inside the home or across the surrounding external areas. This required close attention to specification and positioning, and clear coordination with the wider project team to ensure security measures could be integrated cleanly within the design.
ECS worked closely with the interior designers, the client’s landscape team and the building contractor to specify, position and install appropriate security equipment in line with the client’s security requirements.
ECS met with the client’s design team on several occasions, providing drawings and equipment samples to support decisions and help visualise how equipment would be incorporated within the designated locations. ECS project management also advised on system functionality and installation methods to support a smooth installation and handover, while respecting the Grade II heritage character of the property.
The client now benefits from a safe and secure environment, with security equipment kept discreet and visually unobtrusive throughout the home and surrounding grounds.
